Family and FUN!!

Lots of pictures. Lots of activities. And a little surprise at the end (no, I'm not pregnant).
Scamper and I got to enjoy a trip home. Since it was such a long drive, we decided to make it a whole week, so the Hubby didn't come. It was still a nice vacation though. We started by driving to my Grandma S's house. We stayed there the first night.
Here is Scamper enjoying his little watergun toy from his Grandma. She showed him how to squirt it while we were out to dinner, and he kept squirting people who walked by. Great!Trying on shoes. My Grandma S needed white shoes to wear when she works at the temple. She didn't have any luck, but Scamper was trying to help her out.
My cousin got married in the Salt Lake temple. It was beautiful. I went to the ceremony (while my cousin R watched Scamper--thanks!), the luncheon, and the reception. Below is a picture of Scamper with Uncle R.

Then we drove home to my parent's. My niece, K, got baptized. She really wanted me to be there, so it was nice that I could work it out. My step-dad baptized her, I sang, and my two other nieces, D and J gave talks. It was very nice.
We had such a nice visit while I was at home. Here we are Storybook park.

Scamper loved riding a trike.
I hardly had to do anything for Scamper. He had many others who wanted to take care of him.

D and J had baseball games, and this was the first time Scamper ever went to one. He was loving every minute of it.
Especially the food!
But I guess all that playing and the large amount of driving we had to do wore him out. This is picture of him the day after we got home. And it is 2 hours before his regular nap time.

And now for the surprise...
I decided to go a little crazy with my hair! I have wanted to do this for a while.
This is before...
Don't worry, I donated to locks of love.
And this is after...
I totally love it, but it is a huge change. I have been having so much fun styling it in different ways. And with the hot weather, it couldn't have been better timing.

Whoa! You're hair looks so darling! I love it! Did your hubby know you were doing it? What does he think?

Your trip looked fun. How neat that you got to go to the wedding and the baptism. That's awesome!

How fun that you got to see so many people and attend so many family events! I was shocked about your hair - I didn't expect the color AT ALL! So much fun! Did your hubby know? Or did you surprise him?

I really, really love your hair. You pull of both looks so well. And who ever did the cut did a really good job.

It looks like we both had the same idea to spend a week away. I wonder if we were up in Idaho at the same time. If so, I'm so sad that I missed you.

My hubby did know I was going to cut and color my hair. He wasn't with me when I did it, so I just sent him a picture on my phone. He really liked it, but was still pretty shocked when he saw me in person. I am glad he is so supportive of whatever I want to do with my hair.

Holy cow-Boston with dark hair! Never imagined the day! Cute pics, I love taking a week away to visit home, glad you could do it too. Sounds like lots of family events going on, so that's even better.
