Something to celebrate!

About 2 weeks ago, both of my cats went missing. They wander outside some, but they always come inside to sleep. I was a little worried, but didn't think much of it. They next day I didn't see them...and this continued for a week and a half. Of course I thought they had run away or had maybe been hit by a car. I was just shocked they had both disappeared at the same time. Well, a few days ago, I came home from the store to see one of my cats walking in front of my garage. When I was sure it was him, I started bawling and ran to pick him up. He was skinny, but he was alive. I noticed a couple cars at the house next door (where nobody currently lives) so I went over to investigate. Turns out, the guy that owns the house has been doing some little improvements here and there. When he opened his garage on this particular day, my cat came running out. I asked him about a second cat, but he hadn't seen one. He did mention he had a crawl space in the garage and he would go look. And...he found our second cat. They both survived in this little crawl space for a week and a half without food or water. I am so happy they are home. And just in time for Easter weekend!

Here are a few pictures of Scamper on Easter morning, enjoying a little egg hunt, and his Easter basket. He was very cute. When we would point out an egg, his eyes would light up, he would point, and say, "Ooooo!"

We feel very blessed to really reflect on all the wonderful things the Savior has done for us. I love Easter, because it represents the life and the happiness we will continue to have after we die.

Scamper is so tan! What a cutie!

By the way, I'm not a huge cat person, but you have me feeling all weepy about your poor cats. How sad that they got stuck and nearly starved to death!! I'm so glad you went in search of the second one. What a relief to have them both home!
