A day off!

Finally we had an entire day off together (besides Sunday). Because of my play, Hubby and I haven't been able to do much on Saturday. So on Memorial day, we went hiking in Zions with some friends. It was a perfect day, and Scamper did really well. Have I mentioned that he LOVES to be outside? And the Camelbak was a huge hit. He wanted to hold it and chew on it forever. If he accidentally let go, or if we tried to take a drink, he would instantly cry until we gave it back (this was towards the end of the day when he was pretty tired). I have never seen Scamper be this attached to anything--not even me!

Here I am trying to entertain him on the ride home. I got a few cute smiling pictures.

The next day he was crawling around (yes, he is an avid crawler now) and decided to pull himself up on the sliding glass door. Usually when he sees the cat outside he tries to crawl through the door--but to no avail. He does repeatedly bump his head into the door though. Nothing to cry about yet. Well, he got himself all the way to a standing position. Yeah! I think. I had to slip outside and take pictures from the outside in.

What a cute little boy! He is getting big so fast.

And how could I resist this picture? It looks like he is being held against his will.

I love the reflections of the whole family in the window. That is so sweet and I'm sure it's symbolic if I stopped to think about it. (o:
