My brother and sister-in-law had their baby earlier this month. I can't even describe how happy I am for them. And I didn't know I would be quite this happy for someone else. As soon as I heard the baby was coming, I wanted to drive up north to see him. Of course I couldn't get away right then, but I did end up getting away without Scamper to help out for a weekend. Their baby is so precious. I just loved holding him. And it is amazing how getting up with a newborn in the middle of the night isn't that tiring if it isn't your own. I am so happy that Scamper and Baby J now have a cousin on The Hubby's side!

And Baby J is huge! I can't believe it. I knew he was big before, but seeing him next to Bean just made him seem bigger.
The proud mama. She will be an excellent mother. She has already proved that in the way she is with my kids. But seeing her with her new baby just made my heart melt.

You can tell Bean and Scamper are cousins. And yeah, Baby J IS really big. How did he get that big that fast?
